Division in Diversity -The Irony

Why do we still let people turn us against our own, against each other. We talk about about how we know more than another person; how we would do this, to highlight the error of someone else's choice.; how we arent cooning or being compliant, like other people who have. one of the mistakes we make is putting Martin Luther King and Malcom X as seperate entites, rather than two black men who wanted the same result, and perhaps if they had teamed up could have descimated things quicker and more efficetively. We feel that different idelogies cannot co-exsist in the same place, when we just need to be more open minded, and understand we dont all think the same. I get that it is easier to look at other peoples failures, mistakes etc and make judgements but when we do this we restrict our ability to make real and lasting change in our communities. The fever from the injustice is already starting to burn out, we need more effective, more robust plans, as mentioned in my pervious blogs, we need a forum, we need unity-Real Unity, which is not based on excluding people because we dont agree on certain princples, outlooks, faiths, ideas etc. It is not supposed to be about saving ourselves, or saving the ones who agree with us, but about saving us all. Can you imagine that we find somewhere safe to be but when you look over your shoulders all you see are the people who we left behind and now suffer for our freedom, do you honestly feel you would be able to truly rest in peace. We need to put our collective minds, wisdom, businesses together and build impentrable walls that cannot be breeched by insiduious words of descent,We need hearts full of the deepest compassion and patience so we can truly navigate these changes so everyone can come and be a part of these changes. I am extremely disheartened to see the in fighting that we allow to distract us.We surely understand that even people like Harriet Tubman, and her fellow rebels, tried to help people en masse, not just the ones who wanted to escape and who were stirred up with immediate courage, but she even took the ones who were frightened, who were still suffering from stockholm because she had compassion enough to understand that not everyone can me defiant and strong, some people just want to survive, and make it through another day. It takes stamina, drive, hope and enduring strength to keep fighting when everything looks bleak and the odds look impossible to defeat, how do we know if the person who agrees with certain things, feel justified based on experience. Im not saying we have to like them, or condone their conduct, even i can imagine that a slave who was whipped by their black slave drivers, had much kindness in their heart from them. I can imagine that the overseer, had long extinguished any hopes of freedom, he didnt become a slave driver without challenge, without any spark of spirit being brutalised out of him. He may ave conceeded that in order to survive we must make sacrifices. They must have in a small way felt justified that they were protecting the niave slaves from the pain of destroyed hope, because the slave driver knew the fate of those who were caught the torture he had seen being inflicited on the ones too numerous to count and was even too much for his hardened heart to take, and as ugly and corrupt as it made him, we know he is no more free than any other of his slaves but that the masssa has created division by rank, and status that he gained from working on behalf of the Massa, we cannot condemn, nor can we of those black people who have sold themselves to the other side for protection, for money, for security, for better prospects for their families. We must be realistic and accept the chips have been stacked against us for time infintium, and although ome of us have managed to retain hope that this will change. I can understand why so many dont. I mean even as we protest the brutality we are in irony still being brutalised. I feel perhaps the ones in the other camp, once they see a way to freedom, they will assist us, and be our man from the inside. We must also be mindful of how much a black person risks by exposing the truth that lies inside these hidden worlds, of the blue line of tyranny, the press, the corporate world etc. If you know your bible you will know of moses, moses had rebellion in his camps, even as he lead them to the land of honey and milk, he faced constant complaining, people asking to be returned to the life they were accustomed to, forgetting the torment that life had for them. We who know, need to be setting the road, plans down for those who will catch up. We must pave the way. we almost need a black based business mall, not 20 different directories, but one central one, that holds all the informatoin securely, so we know who accesses it, we can keep everything within the community and where gaps are created we fill them. We need to be ready to protect the vulnerable in our flock from being swallowed by wolves.
