This film is not only a portrayal of racism, but also of losing ones basic human rights. What makes this film shocking is that it is a modern story based on the very real horror of slavery in 21st century. Another blog topic for a different day. Watch someone's story come to life on screen and marvel that it is a true story.
I am a slave is a story of hardship, and hope. We'll recommended and only 1 scene that I had to turn away from.
