False Hope and Restoring Faith in humanity -Just Dribble

It took me a long time to accept the futility of living in a soceity that has no interest in protecting us and helping us to acheive equal success. Perhaps at one point they dismissed that we were any competiton, they were years, generations ahead of us. They only intended us to be slaves, they never prepared for us to be a part of their soceity, when James Cooke first picked the slaves in africa, he visualised this would be how life would be and no one ever anticiapted that we would be freed. The plan was for black people to be enslaved for evermore in their nations.

They never anticipated that some of their fellow man still understood how wrong brutalising and treating a whole of race people as fodder for the soceity they wanted to build...was wrong. As much as they tried to break the spirit of their slaves, they kept tryng to escape, they rebelled quietly and some not so quietly. They saw the strength of black people when they were united and it frightened them to their very souls, so they vowed to do all in their power to keep us under, behind, where they believed we belonged. We were not supposed to fight and make ourselves self sufficent, when jim crow created laws to prevent our movements, we still thrived, we worked, built wall street. made our communities self sufficent even when they kept us on our toes with their lynching and their murders, they saw men and women of our community rise up and force the racist white society to make concessions and we just kept pushing and pushing, so that today we now can study, eat, ride, earn, vote, date and create to some degree without interferance.
You would think after all those years of fighting we could now be able to put our feet up and shake our head at the past, and be relieved at how much progress we have made, but there is just one issue. Why did we have to fight for so long? dont you think our ancestors got weary, tired of the fear? of not knowing when it would end, they kept going so we now can be free and do the things we can do, but we only forced our agenda on these oppressive nations, they didnt yield willingingly or even understand why we needed civil rights? why we needed to vote or go to school? they still saw us as the slaves they brought back from the continent who are to this day just cluttering up their countries.

So they made an agreement that as long as we stuck to certain behaviours, stuck to our areas, our neighbourhoods, they could accept these changes from slave to citizen, but as the years changed, we knew we were still being dealt an unfair hand, we couldnt get jobs, our children were being held back and we started talking, marching, protesting, our angry voices demanded change once again and the nation caved and created new rules that would allow us to get the things everyone has had for years, they thought because they held us back for so long it would take a while, before we would catch up or even start to make dents into their nations. but oops, we anilialted every chance we got, we got creative, we built, we perservered, and no matter the obstacles,we just learnt to start jumping over the hurdles, or helping the next person behind us get over the hurdle, which may have meant we sacrificed our own progress, and risked our own lives, but knowing people were saved and would keep on fighting made it worthwhile.

So we come to now, where we have millionaires, talented sportspeople and successful black men and women in every walk of life and its making the WST uncomfortable, how are they catching up so fast, and with the help of media, politics and law and order, they could find and use an old method to keep us in line. I just need to share a resolution. They never conceedeed anything because they thought it would benefit us, they conceeded so we would shut up and go back to work, to our daily lives and stop complaining. They knew we would move on once placated and they could continue to control and manipulate every acspect of our lives and punish the interlopers. They know we have video cameras and they dont care they're doing their job and if a few black people die on the way. That is just the cons of the job. I doubt they even think twice about it. so why do we think that if we protest we are suddenly going to make them care more? they didnt care before, what will make them care now?

We  must move in unison understanding that we alone, are the catalyst for improvements
